The Aquatics Maintenance position performs a wide variety of procedures necessary to ensure the upkeep and operation of the Clive Aquatic Center. The focus of this position is the facility maintenance and grounds of the Clive Aquatic Center. This position performs a variety of specialized and practical tasks related to cleaning, pool maintenance, operations, and assurance of water quality standards.

Job Duties:

Cleans Clive Aquatic Center and equipment: swimming pool, pool deck, equipment areas, locker rooms, concessions, showers, etc. for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary and safe condition.
Report any water clarity problems or alarms to the supervisor.
Performs minor repairs to swimming pool equipment and facilities.
Vacuum pools, leaf blow, and power wash facility using the equipment.
Trash management in and around the aquatic center.
Assists with setup and/ or movement of equipment
Patch and maintain innertubes.
Report any broken safety or mechanical equipment to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age and hold a current valid driver’s license.
Must have and be able to demonstrate knowledge of best cleaning practices using several power tools and/ or cleaning equipment.
