Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and temperaments, ensuring their well-being and happiness while also maintaining a clean and organized facility.

Duties

Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure safety and socialization.
Implement proper animal restraint techniques when necessary to ensure the safety of all dogs.
Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including regular cleaning of kennels, play areas, and equipment.
Assist with basic pet grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing as needed.
Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dogs’ activities and behaviors.
Assist in training sessions or activities that promote positive behavior among the dogs.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed to create a secure environment for both pets and staff.
Qualifications

Job Duties:

Previous experience in animal care or dog handling is preferred.
Knowledge of animal restraint techniques is essential.
Familiarity with pet grooming practices is a plus.
Experience working in a kennel or veterinary setting is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is required.
Certification in dog training or veterinary assistance is beneficial but not mandatory.
